Cascading Tides

Reflecting on it in retrospect, the installation „Cascading Tides“ is essentially about making space and time tangible. The cascading hanging marks one direction – one dimension – with the next added by the diagonal line running through all the ceramics. Seeds and snail shells appear as symbols of relics and potentials of life – past and future.

Nachträglich reflektiert geht es in der Installation „Cascading Tides“ im Grunde um ein fassbar-Machen von Raum und Zeit. Die kaskadenartige Hängung markiert eine Richtung – eine Dimension –, die nächste kommt durch die Diagonale hinzu, die durch alle Keramiken verläuft. Samen und Schneckenhäuser erscheinen wie Sinnbilder für Relikte und Potentiale von Leben – Vergangenheit und Zukunft.
